I understand the difficulties you had in taking this picture but I have to agree with Jason that a closer crop would makes a better picture. I do understand that the background is a part of the story. Very nice. You seem to have many excellent opportunities to take different types of pictures. If I wasn't so old and tired of international travel, I think Qatar would be a great place to visit. |

I played around with this image in PhotoShop and couldn't do much of anything to make me like it any better. I did try it without the lens flare and did like that better.
Very nice. |

I looked closely at both the image and the original. As everyone knows, I'm not any kind of expert but as a novice I really like what you did to the image.
I guess I will have to learn how to use focus stacking. So much to learn. |

My eyes followed the leading lines to the girl. She was definitely the center of MY attention. I looked at the graffiti after I saw the girl. The red door is excellent behind the girl but it would have been nice if she was caught just before the red door (not always possible).

I think this is beautiful. I love the use of HDR that is not too extreme like my previous pictures. I agree that the removing of the plants on top of the cliff makes it less distracting. I like the sand in front. Beautiful |

I like the idea of the blur background. I tried it and making a closer crop to not chop off the arms. |

I think the color picture is just another color picture. I like what you have done. I like the sepia tone and the fact that it is not overdone.
Without the newer cars in there it could have been taken in the 40's. Very nice. |
