I am not a fan of still life photography, never really got or attempted.
Looking over the group of images this month, this image really stood out.
Very clever and very well executed, WELL DONE. |

This is a pleasant scene which Jon pointed out.. However that's all, for me personally, not much to the image to make me stop and look at it longer. |

I think I might have liked to see the cobbled stone street as well and not make the painting the center of interest. Perhaps just some artwork on the wall whose colors mix well with the surroundings. There needs to be more of a story or something, otherwise a bit of a record shot of a painting. |

Steam punk outfits are quite fun and interesting. A nice portrait which is separated from the background and all the blue is well controlled. The eyes are a bit over the top, perhaps too bright. |

Very cool (haha) image and the 3 people do provide a little bit of scale, but I think they also add some interest. The colors of the image overall are lovely and really make this image and I like the sky, even though maybe a pinch too blue. |

Nice shot and we can certainly understand why the sky grabbed your attention. You could probably enhance the colors in the sky a little more and perhaps open the shadows a pinch. |

Great idea and I should keep an eye out in the future for those opportunities. But to the left and right, really BRIGHT areas. |

Very interesting rock formations and they really stand out amongst the rolling hills. I agree with Jane based on the shadows in front of the rocks. They do look a pinch bright even though your lighting might have been more from the top. Overall, very nice image and your itty bitty wife in red helps with the scale. |

Cataract surgery is a wonderful thing!!!!
Lovely detail throughout and the color looks spot on. I to wish the cross stood out a little more, but unfortunately, that is their design.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! |

The portrait crop works out nicely and shows more of the stream which makes a nice foreground. The square rock group on the right almost half way is a little bright, I would burn that area in some. Perhaps crop a little off the top, the sky is not really adding much to the scene. Looks good considering the time of day. |

I prefer the one with the rock on the left, I think it is a little more interesting and provides some nice framing of the teapot. When I used to shoot 3D, the additional rock on the left also provided more depth in the image. Might have given you fits, but the red looks very natural, well done. |

I was able to cover with an aperture of f8 and a wide angle lens. |

Yes, there were several canons along the inner walls of the fort. I picked this one because of the least number of distractions. Plus at the wrong angle, there were quite a bit of light leaks that created a VERY bright sun shining through the edges. |
