The dandelion is very nice and makes a great subject. I also like that we can see the foliage around and behind the dandelion. However, I do agree with Jon, the brown stems are distracting. |

Very interesting and an unforgettable experience with the little boy stealing the show. Not bad quality since you pulled it from a video image but that might I also explain the lack of detail. I am not sure we are missing anything, because the story is the photo. The photo still looks a little flat and could use some more contrast but you will probably have to be gentle. |

Excellent conversion to B&W and a good choice of photo. I like the composition but I might crop a little bit off the right side which has a few brighter bricks. The cross is a nice subject to keep your eyes moving to the window, unfortunately it gets a little lost. Overall a very nice image. |

Very pretty flower and colors, the center works very well with the yellow. I do agree, the dark green needs to be removed and possibly cropped but it does not bother me. I think the focus is ok except for the one petal that is a bit out of focus. |

The reason I tried was the background was pretty dark and he was very still. |

Great looking old town, kind of takes you back a 100 years or more. The fall foliage really adds to the photo with the added color. HDR skies from older photos are tough, they get a little gritty and an area that could be worked on. Possibly replacing it with one of the originals and working your magic. |

Very cool, wow, 39 different types of marble. The composition is nice and it leads your eyes to the 2 people who give it some scale. I do agree, would be interesting to photograph it with a polarizer, there are a lot of reflections which is the biggest challenge. I would probably crop away the pattern at the top of the photo. Other than that, a very interesting photo. |

A good subject with interest (tis the season?) and nice colors and textures. I do like the tighter cropping, the background is really not a part of the photo and gets rid of the fuzzy one. I think you could have pushed the processing a bit more in regards to color and textures. |

Really nice composition and the leading lines are great! The tone mapping is excellent overall and looks very natural with your additional work. I do agree with Lisa, the left side the lighthouse does look a tad bright. |

I never really got into still life photos, not sure why. The bottle and cool glass go well together but I find the background a little distracting. I like Rick's idea of softening it to create some separation. I also think Jane makes a good point, I did not really notice the cap until she mentioned it. |
