27 Jul 23 Comment Based on your comment to Jon, I see what you were trying to accomplish. The brightness of the top part keeps pulling my eyes away from the rest of the scene. This area could be toned down a little bit, which might help. Something else, not necessarily a strong center of interest would also help. Jul 12th
27 Jul 23 Comment Fun shot with the cat photo bombing! Because of the sharpness, probably won't get very far in competition. In regards to the original, the still life objects are interesting and do make you look around. 2 things going forward, a less distracting background and focus stacking for better sharpness on the napkin. 27 Jul 23 Reply I do agree that the building in the rear stands out a bit much, I will see what I can do. The idea behind the clouds was so your eye didn't go to a big white nothing. 44 Jul 23 Comment Great angle and use of a fisheye lens. I think perhaps a very small crop around some of the edges to catch some elements on the edge. The blend is really nice but I think it could use a pinch more contrast/pop (which I didn't add in this quick crop). Jul 12th

44 Jul 23 Comment Good catch and seeing this subject and composition. The oil can really adds to the image, not nearly as interesting without. The lighting is really nice with the subtle shadows. Next time, photograph in the dark and light paint, would be pretty cool. Jul 12th
