Very nice image! Really like the exposure where we see some stars (does not overwhelm the photo) and the light painting on the tree is excellent! I also like the clouds along the horizon, adds nice separation of the hills. The stars trailing a little is not an issue at all with this image.
If you wanted to see them as spots, with a 24mm lens, the exposure can be no longer than 21secs, ideally around 10secs or less. |

Very nice arrangement and 3 flowers works well for the composition. I also like that we see some of the background both greens and reds. I think the yellow is a little bright on my screen. I do agree with the red merger on the right. |

Congratulations! Looking forward to my first grandchild some day.. A little more light on dad's face would be nice. The bright box does detract, perhaps using a control point and toning it down. The slight halo around his face might have been caused by Silver Efex. Nik just released a new version of the suite which includes an upgrade of Silver Efex to V3. |

I like them both.. the one challenge in the b&w is the mid tones blending with themselves. The one area in particular is the right side with the back of the boat and the grassy hill. I might be inclined to remove the rope/cable. Maybe even remove that work vehicle, just does not fit the vibe of the photo. |

Cute photo and I agree with the rest, it would help if the lambs stood out a little more. Otherwise, I think the cropping is good and forms a nice diagonal. |

Well done, the bug is sharp and the photo has nice depth of field. Looks like it might be the one insect that we do not see here in Florida! Would have been cool to see the wings spread and the transparency. |

You might see this subject again next month taken a little later in the evening (or Morning depending on your perspective) with the Milky Way a little more vertical and eliminating the tree. |

The blend looks good and some great colors thoughout. Too bad there was not more water to add a little more interest in the foreground. |

I agree with Rick, the whites still look ok and the blend is really nice. The composition is a little static with the only subject being the stained glass.
You are getting pretty good at these church interiors! |

I recently tried PureRaw recently and it does a very nice job. I used it on a Milky Way photo I submitted for DD27 this month.
The blend looks great in the main image and the fog bank is really nice and definitely adds interest. Unfortunately the blank sky does not help the scene. The sky looks like it belongs for the most part in the 2nd, perhaps still a bit much in its intensity. Do you think an intense sunset that you have would also effect the foreground? The snow does look like it is glowing a little. |

Very nice night landscape photo! The boat makes for an excellent subject and you have lit it very nicely, WELL DONE! I think you could add a little more contrast to the sky and Milky Way. I think that would add a little more color to the core and make it stand out some more. |

Very cool image and the castle fits the mood with the lightning!
Is this a single exposure @ 1/000th of a second? Did you fire a burst when lightning appeared? I normally see a longer exposure to catch all the bolts, interesting technique. |
