Very nice scene and the crew boat does add some interest to the scene. You could crop left and right (I think Lauren's example is too much on the right), but I am not sure it would add a lot. |

Nice timing with the capture as it lands or takes off after the annoying Canadian geese. I agree with Becca, I would crop off about 10% off the top or clone the lighter areas out. |

A nice simple image with a pleasant (not black) background. I think some tweaking with the buds and the other stem would simplify even more and create a 2nd image. Plus you could do another with an Orton effect or something similar. |

I did lighten up his face with a dodge/burn layer. Sometimes the challenge is not going to far where it no longer looks realistic. Perhaps I could have gone further. This layer is pretty easy, just create a new layer, soft light blend mode and check the fill 50% gray box, and use either white brush to lighten or black brush to darken. A very handy tool! |

I like the composition and panoramic crop as well, keeps your eyes focussed on the scene. I do find the blue areas around the big rock and the foreground to the right a little distracting because I am not expecting to see any. blue with all the warmth of the sunset. |

Nice angle of a cool old home with lots of character. I do think it needs a more mid-tone contrast, it looks a little flat overall. |

Very cool perspective with the fisheye. The processing is outstanding and I did not notice the ornament on the wall until it was pointed out. |

Love the angle emphasizing the book and the fallen leaves. Too bad on the overcast day but it did make it easier with all the tree branched. Since the sky is not really helping the image, you could crop about 20 percent off the top. It is interesting, we all sees things a little differently and the things that catch our eye. I would probably do something with the bottom to remove the lighter portions of the base on the left. |

I did notice a big difference in the processing when I originally shot this 11 years ago with Photomatix I think.. The 12mp image holds up pretty well with modern processing. |
