My next revision will be too lighten up the foreground before I make a print. |

I did about 8 layers of dodge and burn in Capture One. |

This is tough.. this is not your typical landscape but an interesting view of the harbor which is busy one based on the industrial stuff surrounding it. I am ok with seeing the additional land up top to give it some perspective. |

HMMM.. not sure what to say.. interesting, it could use a little more contrast and noise reduction. |

The simplification really makes this a good PJ image. I like your last version because the back ground is a little distracting. It could just use some of the pop and texture of the original. |

One of the reasons I stopped using Silver Effects was because of the halos and the gritty appearance on some photos. |

Really nice composition and framing of this big cat. Overall it seems a little bright since he-she is probably in shade. |

I agree with others and the image seems overexposed which has increased the noise. The challenge with noise reduction and astro-photo is they lose their sharpness and the fainter ones become lost. Most astro photographers either use a very fast lens, 2.8 or faster and stack multiple images for the sky. Then they shoot a second long exposure for the foreground at a lower ISO. The other option is using a camera that is great for high ISO photography with the fast lens. |

This is really nice in many ways; composition, story and the editing to enhance Henna and bring back the monk. Well done! |

Wonderful image! I also love to photograph the night sky when I have the chance. Curious, why did you take the risk with the double exposure and not merge the files in post? |

Larry, thank you for visiting! The D300 was a great camera in its day and Nikon took way too long to upgrade. I changed to Sony about 3 years ago and haven't looked back. |

The processing is natural with a little bit of extra saturation. The lighting on the front tree is nice, just wished it stood out more from the background. Awesome clouds! |

Good subject matter and closeups are always fun. Unfortunately the car is a little soft and the busy background is in focus. |

Beautiful post card lighthouse and big bummer that no one else can appreciate it up close..So anyone can see it from this angle? It is very colorful and the processing is excellent. The dodging and burning is not noticeable anywhere. Personally I might tone it down just a bit. |

You do find some pretty cool old stuff to photograph with lots of texture. Well done as always and the only thing I might do is remove the breaker panel in the rear, just seems out of place. There is also a gray/blueish something about 25% down from the top that could be cloned out. |
