As I said, I do like the improved version. What I mean by static is the barn is centered in the photo. There is not much room any direction around the barn. So consequently I feel the image/composition is static. Make sense? |

Is the original very tightly cropped? Did you shoot it from other angles? |

Obviously a great subject and I am sure was a blast to capture.
It is interesting to have them looking and wondering what they are looking at.. But I think I would prefer to see their eyes which is a key component of nature/wildlife photography. |

Interesting change, certainly noticeable and better. The texture has taken away almost all the contrast which is OK I guess.. I am having a hard time judging this image for some reason. What is with the figurine in the lower left? |

This is a really nice environment portrait with good composition. I think you might have gone a little too far with lightening up the face. I think I prefer it a little darker like the original. |

I think this is very creative and I love the reflection in the wine glass and that makes the photo. The only nit pick thing that bothers me about the shore line is that it appears to be a bit of a hard edge. I like the fact that is out of focus, perhaps a version of Olivers where the buildings and shoreline are less obvious but still there. |

I do like the improved version based on the comments. It is a very interesting barn/subject and overall, a nice job. The composition is a little static with it being in the center with almost equal distance all around the subject. |

I thought it was a halo as well until I looked at the original. It is actually the mist/fog that was prevalent in the scene. |

Most importantly, Great news on the prostate!
As you know, I will arrive in the Tetons NP area on the 29th and will leave on the 3rd for Salt Lake City. Would love to get together but it sounds like you will be in Yellowstone when I am closer to Jackson. Yellowstone is another trip for another time.
The bridge is a nice subject with some excellent shadows and compositionally very nice. The only area I would work on might bet he bright spot to the left. |

The image is very well done! The monochrome effect is genius and really makes this image. |

Overall very nice, excellent composition and distortion isn't a bother or even noticed from my perspective. I like the little distortion that a wide angle creates. The image does seem a bit bright overall on my screen. |

This a very cool image.. the technique is wonderful.
Seems strange that it is a single part of a train, no people and is lighted..
The other part that I might remove is the vertical line in the middle. |

Visiting from DD44 & 27.. really like the image, it caught my attention after I read the notes and visited your group. The only change I would make would be to remove the red buoy, it is pretty bright. |
