Closer to the one for Jon, but I also like the original for Jan. |

Nice PJ shot and the young lady and the new crop is well captured. Really nice story but boy do I want to see the little girls face, there is a probably a lot of emotion. |

I think the simple composition is very nice. The one area that bothers me a little is the single green stalk that shoots straight up and dominates the image a bit. |

I prefer the portrait because the area on the left doesn't add anything. I think the bottles in the front are interesting. Perhaps crop along the building edge and keep three bottles. The face has gone a bit plastic with the processing. |

It is a nice environmental portrait and you did a nice job opening up the faces. Nice to see some background, but I would like to have seen more. |

Pretty cool to see something very different from the group! Everything looks good except the composition is pretty static with the subject dead center. Perhaps a different crop might help. |

I agree that I could have spent a little more time to open the face a little. It is too tight on the left, I do find it interesting about the space comment. Many bird photos are very cropped on all sides. I like to show the environment when it adds to the photo. I was avoiding the father walking around the front a bit too close to keep in focus at 800mm. I did have this one at 250mm which had both parents but I find the background very busy and the birds get lost a little.. |

Very dramatic and it could use a little more contrast and lighting up the tower a little more makes it stand out. |

Your last couple of images have been moody and thought provoking. B&W is certainly a good idea and some additional contrast would help as well. |

Another area is the halo along the top edge of the arch and it is pretty strong. A few more corrections and you have a very nice image. The first time I saw Mesa, I could not believe how small it is. |

Rick is spot on and I think a nice vignette would help as well. |

Wonderful processing, very natural. Too bad the sky didn't provide something of a little more interest than the 2 single clouds. |

I agree with your assessment and a nice light on the tree would help! It needed something extra and that might just do the trick. |

Most of the time I try to create realistic looking images and forget to look at it from an artistic viewpoint and manipulate the scene to my liking. Just about everyone else does and I need to do it more often. |
