27 Jun 17 Comment Great action and well captured. If there is anything you can do to reduce the distraction of the cars behind, it would really help. Jun 18th
27 Jun 17 Comment Very creative rendition of the original, overall, well done. It would be interesting to see Jon's change and see how it impacted the image. I think it might help. Jun 18th
27 Jun 17 Comment I think the grasses offer an interesting view since you were not greeted with some amazing color and clouds. It could use a little more pop. Jun 18th
27 Jun 17 Comment The reflection is the strength, I would probably crop off the top a bit to tighten up the image. Jun 18th
27 Jun 17 Comment The image is well composed and the close proximity gives it impact. You also need to apply some noise reduction to reduce the graininess. Jun 18th
27 Jun 17 Comment Interesting rendition, the black & white certainly offers a different feel. Marsha makes an interesting point, the lighter areas can be cloned in PS. You seemed to have lost a little shadow detail in the conversion. Jun 18th

44 Jun 17 Reply The cropping was tough, the square is interesting and breaks the old rule of space to move into. Sounds like you are enjoying the Olympus, they make great cameras. Jun 23rd
44 Jun 17 Comment I love the old weathered trees out west, well done. Jun 18th
44 Jun 17 Comment It seems I never have my camera when the clouds are moving quickly. I have always wanted to create a nice landscape with moving clouds.

Overall, I like the image in particular the composition, water and tree line. The blurry bush up front is unfortunate. Looks like CS5 also created a little halo around the tree lines.

44 Jun 17 Reply They probably came from the HDR merge and the B&W simply amplified them. Should be easy to fix.. Jun 18th
44 Jun 17 Comment Thank you for making an effort this month while you were out of town. Probably not the best example but it certainly shows that you can create a good quality image with a cell phone. Jun 18th
44 Jun 17 Comment Did the middle (original) image have a lot of contrast? I am not sure the image benefited from the process besides adding some texture. The other issue, possibly because of NIK, the image is pretty blue in the shadows. Jun 18th
44 Jun 17 Comment The extreme wide angle is awesome and certainly adds impact to the image. The HDR brought out a lot of texture, well done. Jun 18th
44 Jun 17 Comment Interesting.. after Tom pointed out the green, I noticed the blue on the other side. Those are both newer and in better shape which offers a nice contrast to the old house. I like the image, nice use of HDR but it could use something. Jun 18th
44 Jun 17 Reply Good point, funny, I really didn't notice.. Jun 18th
