Laurie -- I live near the head waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Bald eagles are a common sight at the Conowingo Dam in Harford County. There is an event that is called the Million Dollar Weekend because of the cameras and the lenses of the photographers who gather each year to take photos of Bald Eagles. Your shot is excellent. |

When I see a cityscape I am pulled into the image and look at every square inch of it. We only see the portion that our camera captures, but our minds, eyes, and hearts see everything in harmony or disorder. I love it -- especially the mountains in the distance. I've never been to India, at 81 I may never go -- but I can see through your images it would be a fascinating adventure for the artistic soul. |

I would be interested in the fuller image -- the Cedar Waxwing is known for passing the berries down the line to others sitting on the same branch. I have not seen a Cedar Waxwing in Maryland even though they are residents. Nice sharp image. |

Looks like a nice place for a retreat. Nice composition and the stillness of the water makes for great reflections. |

My goal in this image was to show the active urban life around the Temple complex. If I had a tripod with me, which I almost never carry, it would have been an interesting composition of blurred lights at the bottom of the image to match the gold of the Temple complex, but alas -- no tripod.
If you look just to the right of the large temple you will see a high-rise apartment building. I used the "dodging" brush in Lightroom to bring it to the surface -- again to display the urban nature of the scene. |

Thanks Laurie. At 81 and looking back -- it has been an interesting life. My goal in this image was to show the active urban life around the Temple complex.
