Laurie -- I agree with Keith about the LH side of the image. I don't think I would crop out the top. I would use content aware in Lightroom on the left side to keep the width and eliminate the branches. I would also remove the dark land mass from the center by lowering the crop. When it comes right down to it--it is your image, and I could agree with Prasad. |

Prasad -- I wish I could have been with you. I like this kind of image- maybe I would have walked up the steps. When my wife is with me and she sees "danger" or no trespassing she warns me and I go, most of the time, anyway. We were in England one time and jumped a fence with the permission of the land owner to go into a castle ruin--the owner said, "Beware of the bull." We never saw the bull. |

Kathleen -- Wonderful image. I am sure the stories were just as wonderful as this image. I love it! I wish I had been standing beside you to take the image. |

Keith -- We go to Sunset Beach--the last barrier island before South Carolina. The image is a walk down memory lane. |

Laurie -- Thank you. I have attached a square image (not sure how this works) based on your suggestion. I personally like the longer image. |

Thanks Andrew -- knowing the situation -- I am happy that they were orphaned by the biological parents and now have a better/best chance of survival and education out of poverty. I know you understand the context of my comment. It is the old man and the Starfish Story..."I saved this one..." |

Thank you Prasad. The eyes are important. Iris enhance in Lightroom is my go-to for eyes. |

Thanks Keith -- The compound is gated with 10 homes. Each home has a married couple--who are considered their "forever family." There is a very modern school on the compound grounds as well. They also have a group in Romania.
