82 Nov 23 Comment Thanks for sharing the remake. Nov 11th
82 Nov 23 Comment I agree with the crop -- that would bring the butterfly closer in the image while taking out the whites in the upper right and left. I always like butterfly images taken by others. Nov 8th
82 Nov 23 Comment I agree with the spots on the right. If, and that's a big if, there is some light on the distant side of bell of the sax -- I would try to recover it. Otherwise, it is a nice image. Keep looking, seeing, and capturing. Nov 8th
82 Nov 23 Reply When you are one of 5 others and not the driver it is difficult to dictate when the van goes and stops, I told my wife, "I would love to have a safari trip where I was the only photographer." Alas, the mission is the purpose for the travel to Tanzania, to work with orphans, and the photography is the bonus. I do agree with the suggestion. Nov 8th
82 Nov 23 Reply The B/W will be the one that I eventually print and hang. Thanks for you comments. Nov 8th

BTW -- the van was moving slowly when I took this image.

82 Nov 23 Comment Cute image -- I wish I could see more of her eyes... if you use the brush in Lightroom and select Iris Enhance it may give you more definition to the eyes that can be seen. It is still is a good capture. Nov 2nd
82 Nov 23 Comment I did not know India had a wild horse population. Point of view is excellent. Maybe the Amur Falcon will be in your future trips. I looked the falcon up and it looks similar to the American Kestrel (renamed -- when I was a kid it was called a sparrow hawk.) Nov 2nd
82 Nov 23 Comment Lovely image. I might suggest running a Lightroom brush over the trees with a little increase in exposure or white to bring out the branches more. Nov 2nd
82 Nov 23 Comment The comment about "Fred" must be universal -- I have given that name to many "unknowns" in my life. Thanks for sharing your story of avoiding the cold Canadian air and the many Freds -- we just had a feel of it yesterday in Maryland Nov 2nd
82 Nov 23 Comment Thanks Prasad -- I agree. A square presentation would be good. I printed three images of the same tree for my class on Judging Prints. All six agree with your assessment. Nov 1st
