82 Oct 23 Reply Thanks Kathleen, I agree the bottom is a might too heavy. Oct 6th
82 Oct 23 Reply Thanks David -- On the right I wanted to anchor the image with the smaller building that is also made of sheet metal and reflecting the sky. I agree that I could have cropped the bottom a bit. As I stated in another suggestion about the gray sky -- I wanted the building to pop-out in the image. Once viewers see the building is actually seeing the sky reflected in the sheet metal -- they generally understand why I chose de-saturation of the sky. Still a good suggestion of maybe backing off the de-saturation a bit. Oct 6th
82 Oct 23 Reply Keith -- Thanks for the suggestions on the sky and the building. I have another favorite image which used the same technique of disaturating the sky. I like the mixture of monochrome and color in this image. I will experiment with the your suggestions in the future. Oct 5th
82 Oct 23 Comment Great capture -- why the quarrel -- they could be making up. I think I would use the de-haze filter in Lightroom to bring out more detail. Oct 3rd
82 Oct 23 Comment Nicely seen. The history of such a building is as fascinating as the image. I have seen a barn like this in PA -- I don't remember where. Nice capture. Oct 3rd
82 Oct 23 Comment I have been there. It is hard to take a bad image of this beautiful building. Nicely done. Oct 3rd
82 Oct 23 Comment Nice view without those pesky power-lines. Oct 3rd
82 Oct 23 Comment Nicely done. Soft pastels. I don't know that I would change anything for this image. If there were more defined lines I might try to create some shadows. I Think it works well. It would be a nice image for a throw pillow or the bathroom wall for a feeling of warmed and coziness. Oct 3rd
82 Oct 23 Comment A very busy image. Isolation of the bare tree is very difficult with the background. I don't know if you could have moved around the tree for a better open angle to high-light the tree without the business of the background. Oct 3rd
82 Oct 23 Comment Thanks Prasad -- it was a nice day. The reflection on the steel siding lets you know how bright the sky was. Oct 3rd
