Thank you Don and Ed for the additional feedback on my image. The town is certainly dwarfed among all else. The full rendered file is easily blown up to see all the detail but we have some limits here.
Aside from that I was instructed to let the group know that I have an image up in the member showcase gallery until April.
Enjoy the day!

Hi Jen I cannot recall what town/village this was but we took a long drive through the west fjords and there were a lot of twists and turns so could not tell you what direction this may be. Further North or West? Thank you for the feedback. |

Thank you Jack for the feedback on this shot and will leave it mostly as is. I will try a softer edge on the lighting. |

Jen you sure captured a lot of textures in this scene. It amazes where certain things find a place to grow. It looks like those cactus could be gone in a flash if the rock decided to crumble further.
I like it as is but can see where a tighter crop in on the cactus could work also. Nice capture Jen. |

That is a lot of birds in that rookery. You present a fairly calm easy scene in what must have been a noisy place to be. As Jack mentioned the tones and contrast are very nice.
You must have a lot of great material from New Zealand. Thank you for sharing an atypical scene to me from New Zealand. |

Don this shot to me is fabulous! I love the mood of the whole scene and wonder what may be lurking out of eyes view. This would be a great shot in a movie scene. I would not change a thing but worth being printed and a computer background for a while. |

Ed this presents very nicely and I agree the B&W version is better. He certainly does seem to have an inner peace about him. I do like the portrait as is but would also be curious to see Jack's suggested crop.
Well done and I am not so distracted by the beanie myself but find my secondary look travels to the coat zipper as a distraction from his face. |

Oh how many times have I witnessed this scene this year in Minnesota! Great parting shot. Thank you for all of your input while here and I wish you the best on your next photo adventure. |

Jack this is a great image and quite the view from the wall. That must have been an interesting trip. I would love to see your color version also. The two towers seem to balance the scene. You chose the composition well and the center bisection works very well in this case. The image is sharp with plenty of contrast and I love the bonus clouds. |
