15 Feb 19 Comment Hi Jeri, I don't mind the empty hole - it adds to the story. Love the harsh light you took the image under - it adds to the boldness and starkness of the subject. The lines in the timber keep bringing my eyes back to those three rusty nails and their dominate strong shadows. Have you considered changing it to mono to see if that works? Feb 9th
15 Feb 19 Comment Rick I always look forward to seeing your images and you have not disappointed! I did listen to the song, my tastes are not as refined as yours, this week my favourite song is 'A thousand years' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtOvBOTyX00. I like how the lines in the sky contrast with the fluid soft shapes of the water. The image is very dramatic and definitely eye catching. I like the colour tones and the framing - beautiful work Rick. Feb 9th

60 Feb 19 Comment A very talented daughter - I love this. The image is sharp and the light works well. I really like how you managed to capture all the very fine detail of her art piece. Feb 9th
60 Feb 19 Comment Hi Denise, I love that blue and how the light hitting the butterfly's wings just intensify's it. I like how the background is blurred and how you have a bit of space all around him. The lines on his wings take my eyes all over his body. I suggest a soft vignette, especially on the right and bottom right side of the image - just to help keep my eye on that beautiful butterfly. 60 Feb 19 Comment Wow - great detail. I like how the grooves on the shell create strong leading lines and I love the colour tones. I get that fuzzy edge on my images when I photo stack as well - I have heard that using the software called Zerine Stacker can reduce this. Feb 9th
60 Feb 19 Comment Love the textures that you captured and I like how the colours all blend beautifully. The cracks in the bark create great leading lines. Great shot. Feb 9th
60 Feb 19 Comment Love how you blended these images. The light hitting the flower is ever so delicate and I like how it leads my eye to the centre of the bloom. I like how the edges of some of the petals are so very crisp and sharp against the background. Beautiful image. Feb 9th
60 Feb 19 Reply Thank you Carol, Am about to try focus stacking. I do not like the burn on the leaf and will work on getting the diffuser just right to eliminate that. Nadia Feb 8th
