Such a unique element, a ghost-like person!
Are the lights built into the wall? or as Mark says, a reflection? |

Interesting shot of this building with its various shapes and textures. Could you clone out the signs on the wall? |

Last one is Ice Angel. Too corny? |

Here are a few more ice abstracts. I liked the way the sun was falling on the ice and the swirls and angles within.
The ocean on a single digit morning had some interesting shapes as the ice-filled waves lapped the shore. These may be more recognizable than the ice forming in patterns over the flowing water which I agree may be a bit too abstract.
Perhaps you could tell me which (if any) you would choose to exhibit or compete and why? |

I finally managed to get away to the wildlife sanctuary nearby and focused on the ice formations, a sure sign of winter beauty.
Here is one that appears abstract but is actually water rushing beneath icy florets! Is it too abstract? does it have the right combination of values of black to white?
is there no focal point, or if there is, what is it, the water?
Winter Abstracts attract me and I have many more. If people would like, I could put more on so they could choose which is more effective. So much beauty it was difficult to choose. Anyway, here is Miss December, and again, sorry to be so late. |

Interesting, clear, well exposed image. Could use some more headroom if you have it. |

I also like the monochrome photo better. The look on this bird's face is a cross between threatening and pleading. Interesting. Great focus. Could you give him more room in front also or are you trying to stay 3x2? At any rate, cloning out the white spot on the wood would be good.
Nice image. |

Nice job on this portrait, Diana. As soon as the site came up this photo hit me in the face.(haha) Such impact.
The stark contrast between the black and white adds to the impact and the dark shirt adds to his look, complete with lovely draping chains! Good catch on the hair, Stephen. Definitely needed to go. I'd score it high in competition because of the bulldog look you captured so well. A tough guy like this rarely looks you in the eye unless there is a reason. His looking slightly away is more natural as if he is looking at an opponent. |
