20 Aug 25 Reply The original is in my backup drive. It contains about 100,000 images. I have to rebuild the index but, I can't do that until I get a new machine, which has to wait until I get a round tuit. Aug 10th

A diptych, as used in art is two images [laced adjacent to each other. They may be separated but, they are intended to be in proximity. There are also triptychs (3 images.) For four or more images I use the term "polyptych," even though the term cn be used for 2 and 3 images.

20 Aug 25 Comment I agree with Deborah's comment. Just as a thought, For a CC competition consider making the bear's eye more visible. As an image for sale, there is no need to. Aug 9th
20 Aug 25 Comment I love the subtle ethereal look, the diagonal curve gives the image a sense oc motion. Do you think a bit mor negative space on the right. Aug 9th
20 Aug 25 Comment On first look the image hit me as a winner. I see at least one story; the color palette works well; the composition is nicely balanced; and the combination of the diagonal wings, vertical line, and curve give the image a feeling of motion. To my eye the image would be improved if it was a tad brighter. I took the liberty of playing with it. in ACR: I made some tweaks to exposure; and slightly increased clarity and texture. What do you think? Aug 9th

79 Aug 25 Comment Hi Lauren, Enjoy your new lens, and play with it. I do not think that all elements in every image have to be sharp. Your image is one of them. The stamens and pistils seem to be dancing, while the petals are softer as they should be. For some reason my eyes keep wanting to look at the petal on the left, which I find disturbing. I tried cropping it out. What do you think? Aug 12th
79 Aug 25 Comment Mother nature does some amazing things. Great seeing and composition. Until I read your description, I thought that I was looking at a fern garden. Kudos!! Aug 10th
79 Aug 25 Reply That's on me. Unfortunately, I was not sensitive to your artistic intent, which takes priority over everything. Aug 10th
79 Aug 25 Comment I agree with most of the above. As a suggestion, I would crop out most of the sky, which I think is not germane to the image, and cropped on the right because the pole is leaning left. in addition, in keeping with the PJ rules, as a suggestion, in ACR by fiddling with the exposure, color, and effects tools I was able to bring up a lot more of the details in the sky and the beach.
