Very creative. You did a great job. The shadows add realism, and the triangles add a feeling of motion. Thank you for sharing. |

Hi Deborah - What a fun image. Nicely done. For this type of image I prefer BW. I suspect that both the hippo and your grandson would prefer the water. ;-} |

Hi Sylvia - Quite spooky. I think that you met your intention. Nicely done. Original and seasonal. I would like to make some picky suggestions. The sun is on the right side of the image but, the larger portion of the corona is on the left side of the sun, creating the illusion that the sun is moving out of the image. Consider moving the sun a scrunch to the left so that the sun appears to be moving left. In my visual suggestion I used the smudge tool to help the illusion, as well as a tighter crop.

I like both the original, as crisped by Judith, and your final version. I could find a place for each in an office. The original in my office, and the final behind me in a conference room for the same reason I used to wear dominant ties when negotiating. |

As I look at your image I get a feeling of impactful spirituality. I agree with Karl that there are technical shortcomings. But, IMHO the story overrides any pictorial imperfections. |

I agree that iPhones do not accurately replicate tonal ranges. Using gradient filters can be a workaround but could take a long time to implement properly. |

You are lucky that the squirrels kept their part of the deal. I made a deal with a flock of Canada geese. I would not use their sidewalk as a bathroom, and they would not use my lawn as a bathroom. I kept my part of the deal but, they did not. |
