I like that you have made an impression of the lion, rather than just a sterile portrait. I agree with Angela and Fran that his eyes could be brighter. |

What a creative and imaginative image. My only nit is that I would like to see Smokey the Deer facing into the image. Did you use a smoke machine? Your image inspired me to try my hand at playing with smoke.

What a fun and imaginative image. Hopefully it will stop climate change. I cannot imagine what I would think if I saw that scene on my front lawn. Seriously, the pictorialist in me would put a bit of motion blur on the ball. Well done. |

Thank you for your valid comment. There is a lot of research about the relationship between color and personality & mood. e.g.

RE: your preference and mine, I found this statement:
"When we see the colors pink and purple, we often think of them as being very similar. After all, they are both light hues with a lot of blue in them. However, there is actually a big difference between the two colors.
The color pink is typically associated with femininity, while purple is often seen as a more regal or sophisticated color. Pink is also often seen as a romantic color, while purple can be associated with creativity and wisdom.
It's interesting to note that the two colors actually have very different origins. Pink is a combination of red and white, while purple is a mix of blue and red. This means that pink is actually a secondary color, while purple is a primary color.
The difference in their origins can also be seen in how they are used in the world around us. Pink is often used for baby girls or as a feminine color, while purple is more commonly seen in royalty or as a creative color."

This boils down to the color palette I used could very well be a reflection of whether I was annoyed because DoorDash delivered the wrong dinner.

Fran - Wow! You did a great job of turning a loser into a winning piece of art. Your color pallet is perfect for the subject and, the image has great impact my eyes go straight to the subject. Proof that imagination and hard work pay off. |

Thanks for your kind comment. And yes, the wind has a nasty habit of moving treetops. |

Thank you for your comment. I did not see them because of my concern with losing texture. Yup, that happened. A Compromise by using a duplicate layer and reducing fill did not work for me. I would appreciate suggestions. |

Karl, thank you for your comment. I could not decide which way the image looked better. since the pistils are so soft do you think that with the reverse crop they should be toned down a smidge? |

Despite trying many times, I still only see one bird. I wonder whether it is a bird, a plane or, ... |

I second Judith's comment. To me the beauty of abstracts is that they can be anything the viewer or the artist wants it to be, and neither would be wrong. I see a cannon, fish. airplane, elephant's eye but, only one bird. |

Well done. You continue to demonstrate your creativity.
You inspired me to try the technique. Good things and bad things happened. I looked for my old linear polarizing filter. Bad news: The bottom fell out of the storage box, the filter was not in the box. Good news: I found my focusing rail and cancelled my order for a new one. |

Freddie - The worst mistake that you made with this image was not charging enough. I am going to paraphrase a statement made by an artist, after he had sold a piece for about $4.500,000. (I heard about it from a trusted source.) I don't know who's dumber, my client for paying that much, or me for not charging more. I cannot think of any suggestion to change your image. Thank you for sharing |

Good seeing. It's not easy to see natural abstracts but, you did it by using visualization, and imagination. maybe it's me but, the bright lower left draws my eyes away from the rest of the image. As a suggestion I took the liberty of cropping, desaturating and darkening the blues and whites; then increasing saturation of the fish. |
