Hi Mariann, I agree with most of Karl's comment. The crop is not necessary if you use a gradient mask and use the fog reduction tool in ACR. If you increase the size of my thumbnail you can see there is no merge of reflections. As a personal preference the image should be in landscape mode. |

Great job in turning a scientific image into an interesting work of art. This image came into my head as a variation. |

Hi Karl, Thank you for providing a second pair of eyes. Is this what you mean? P also cropped a bit off the top and changed the aspect ratio to 3:2. |

Nice, intriguing image, with a touch of mystery. The colors blend nicely, and the curves and lines work to complement each other. Unfortunately, the image has some artifacts, and looks a tad flat. I took the liberty of running it through Topaz DeNoise AI, set for clarity, and to make it slightly less flat, in PS added an auto levels layer @ 50%. |

Judith, Great impact. The image is simple and effective. When I saw your image, before I read your description, The flower gave me a cathartic feeling. I felt like taking off flying with the flower. Just a nit: I find the jagged border a distraction. This image needs just an innocuous thin dividing border line. |
