I love the detail, especially when the shadows accent the ridges and folds. There is a lot of fairly mundane smooth rock in the bottom left side of the image; I am most attracted to the upper right third of the picture. How about a crop to make it even more clear that this is an abstract with lines and shadows? |

You've done a good job of turning a boring wait in the yarn shop into an interesting image. It feels a bit busy to me, so I would prefer a tighter crop, coming in on all four sides. But then, I like most images cropped tightly! |

Joey--I love the contrast between the soft water ripples and the sharp outlines of the leaves. I wonder if fewer leaves would be even more appealing--right now I'm not sure where the focus point is in the image. And maybe Neal's idea of horizontal would help me, too. |

I love the simplicity of the image. Like Neal, I think the shadow adds to the composition. The position of the goblet in the image is also attractive. |

Neal--amazing shot, and thanks for explaining your process. I am impressed with the level of detail you are able to capture! |
