As a landlubber, I'm not experienced with photos of islands. When I first looked at the thumbnail, I thought it might be a crocodile! I like the suggestion of accenting the ripples. |

Quite intriguing! I like the inside/outside concept and you've done it well. I wonder if the left hand image could be enlarged a bit so the two doors are the same size. |

Very interesting! The combination of foliage and boat is great framing, especially since the composite was re-creating what you actually saw a few minutes earlier. One question: is the boat layer true to the horizon? |

Hi Dennis,
I love the idea of your photo--balloon rise at sunrise. I've had the opportunity to do balloon rides a few times and really enjoyed the perspective from above. Here you are providing a perspective from the ground which I also like. The silhouette of the balloon is just the right size and just in the right place in the frame. The sunrise has a wonderful warm color but a bit too busy for my taste. Maybe you didn't need all 14 images? In particular the dark sky in the upper right is distracting. And the clouds at the bottom feel like they need straightening. I'm sure that this is the way they really looked, but without an actual horizon they become the horizon--hence my discomfort with the slant. What would this look like if you simplified the sky and then added the balloon? |

I love the graphics, Joey, with strong lines everywhere. A very interesting architect designed this hotel! Too bad, however, that there wasn't a waiter bringing room service at the end of the walkway--the leading lines don't have a reward at the end. |
