36 Nov 18 Comment Hi Everyone, Thanks for the tips, I've tried incorporating your suggestions. I cloned out the tanker, which was a little tricky on the horizon. Tried adding extra detail to the sky with some selective levels and curved adjustments. I wasn't sure how to add more impact on the two yachts to the right and in all the editing I did lose some detail in parts of the clouds, I think I pushed the file a bit past its limits. Nov 13th
36 Nov 18 Comment Hi Richard, I tend to agree with the others and your reprocessed image looks wonderful. Nov 13th
36 Nov 18 Comment Hi Hattie, I like the fog too, it creates a lovely mood to the image. The closed landscape composition adds a strong sense of isolation in the scene whether true or not. I also like the levels of saturation I see in the green and yellows. Nov 13th
36 Nov 18 Comment Arne, I like the composition, the foreground rocks add a great leading line. As pointed out the water is blown out but I think you still captured a lovely image. If you had the chance again would you consider more a panoramic format adding extra width to the left? Nov 11th
36 Nov 18 Comment Hi Michael, lovely subject with good detail and color. The f/8 gives a pretty good depth of field and the bracketed images give plenty of dynamic range. I appreciate your own comment about stepping to the right, I tend to agree if only to open up the waterway and give a little extra room for the reflection. Nov 11th
36 Nov 18 Comment Hi Bill, I think you've captured a wonderful moody image. Tightly shot to cut through the fog, great detail with interesting textures, the water bird adds a wonderful living element to the story. Nov 11th
36 Nov 18 Comment Hi Le, the complimentary autumn tones of yellow and blue work well together. The reflections are great particularly with the slight breeze rippling the water. The people on the opposite river bank add a great sense of scale. I feel you made a lovely image here. Nov 11th
