Trey - I did many iterations on this, and liked this one with the compressed image. |

Sanford, no we get a lot of light on the beach, this was using off camera flash with the intent to have the background go black. |

Jorn - I, too, think your choice of B&W was exceptional for this image and it's story of loneliness. I also agree with Sanford on the bench perspective. |

Jay - I like your image. As to shutter speed, I usually am at 1/1600 to catch the sharpness when shooting birds, but at this size it's hard to tell. I also agree with Trey's cropping suggestion. |

Sanford - I like that you have been able to rescue some of the sky, to contrast with the birds. I also agree, I like the birds in the lower right. The birds are well captured. The only thing I might suggest is in PP, to tone down the pilings as they are so bright. |

Trey - Beautiful PP on this image. The golden glow through the trees really makes the image special, in my mind. Lovely composition with the sun just under the branch arch. |

Ian - I really like this image. The softness of the water, juxtaposed against the ferocity of the falls. I, too, like the panoramic cropping on this image as it concentrates the viewer's eye on the waterfalls, not the open water before it. |
