Ian - I value your input. I have come to enjoy occasionally PP of this type, with textured backgrounds, and was not a fan of the original background, hence the removal. |

Sanford - the orton effect is to lend a slight blur, to soften in this case, the pelican. |

Ian - I like the composition, the three sections, sky, land and sea and finally fog. Your goal was to capture the fog, which I do like, but in my opinion it appears dark and bluish. I did play around a bit with it, lightening it and the midrange headlands which I think are also a bit dark. Perhaps I've overdone it and it should be somewhere in between? |

Tyler - I like the country feeling of this image, and I think you succeeded in that goal. Compositionally, I like the fog separating the foreground and background. I think, if it were possible, to have omitted the light foreground fence the image would have worked better as that is what my eye goes to first. I really like the solitude and mountain feel of this image, living myself in a densely populated city. |

Jorn - I think your creativity and compositional skills are well shown here. I believe the leading lines take us right through the image. I like the sign's shadow, I think it has much more effect than if we saw the sign in full. I think the black and white treatment suits this image very well. Great image! |

Sanford - I think this is a really good image, with the foreground darker and the background lighter, and with the corridor leading the eye to the back. I really like the window area, it's colors and lighting. I believe you have shown very good technical skills in the post processing, as the warmer tones seem to me to make this an inviting image/room. |

Trey - I really like this image, well done! I think the use of black and white really lends itself very well here. I believe your use of DOF is essential for this image's success. I like the lighting/reflections on the greyhound. |
