Hi Bob, We are actually visiting in CT and then FL a few days to return to Bora at the end of January. The border has been opened to tourism since May but it is a bit a hassle with all the testing required! We spent 1o days in CT in May to photograph a wedding, went back to Bora and thinking it was going to be slow we took off mid-June to end of July to France and have actually have been very busy since we returned from France. I know there was a bad week of Rain this past week with high tides and flooding in several islands but it does not seem to be linked to the Tsunami.

Thank you all for the comments, if I could only shoot in the water I would:-) We have been promoting this type of image a bit more on our instagram and have done quite a few sessions with these long dresses. Being weightless in the water makes it challenging to pose and it requires lots of self control. This pose is probably one of the hardest (but one of my fav) when done without a mask as the water will fill in your nose:-) In this case she was wearing a mask, I wanted her to float just below the surface so the image can be flipped horizontal and thus giving another mysterious look. Perhaps looking back, I should have asked her to slightly turn her head toward the camera so the mask could pop out a bit more. The spot we selected is about 5-6' deep with a drop off that gives us a darker blue in the background.
We were happy for the second year in a row to have made it in semi finals of the WorldShootOut underwater competition in 3 categories, fashion, wide angle and shark category. |

Wonderful capture, love the dreamy mood and colors. Very nice long exposure, I not sure I would change anything. |

Very cool transformation! I like the "transparent" look it gave it and the accent on some colors, the mirror effect works well too. |

Very nice capture, sharp and the details come out nicely. Well done for shooting from such a distance at 300mm, the ISO worked and has Bob mentioned better have more speed. Perhaps I would try to make the eye pop a little. |

Wonderful portrait, love the expression, the way he is impeccably dressed shows the pride of being a service man. The darker neutral background works well and does not take away from the subject. I would not change anything, the little hair spotted by Bob may be. Likely would be a very good B&W image too. |
