Hi Bob, Yes the slow mo on the water is lovely! As a side note, PS has a fairly new feature for sky replacement and it really makes it a breeze. It would be easy enough to take the sky from the first shot and replace the second one with the sun probably being lower. Very nice shots! |

Thank you Bob! I rarely carry photo equipment when we travel (Iphone is just great:-). But I made it a point this time around as I know I missed great opportunities for night photography the first time I was in Hong Kong. We spend a few evenings taking photos this time around, the city is just amazing at night! |

Thank you Bob. The new subject and sky masking features are just amazing, they also give you the ability to invert the mask - So accurate and fast, in this case I used the select subject, cloned the mask and inverted the cloned mask to deal with the background and the first mask to handle to the animal. |

Beautiful scene, not sure I would change anything. Love the contrast of the colors, nice dramatic sky with the texture. |

Gorgeous image! Being a water lover, the image is so inviting! The sail boat really adds to it, great texture on the sky! I would not change anything but I am wondering if you had tried a slower shutter to had a softness / movement to the water? |

Love the scene and its tone, the slow shutter works well. I would not change anything, I see one pier so perhaps Bob is on point with the camera angle to show the two piers. May be a few dust spots in the sky.. |

Gorgeous reflection, love the scene and its peaceful mood. Two elements distract me a little, the bright green grass is overpowering a bit and distracted me from the lower part / the reflection. I hope you don't mind, I played with it a bit to lower the grass saturation and change the hue to be more harmonious with the lower part. Changed the sky as well to match the mood, opened the shadows a little on the 2nd bridge. |

Very nice image, it must have been so captivating to photograph! If anyone uses Lightroom, the new release came out with some wonderful new features. I played around with the image a little to try to make the subject pop out a bit more & give it more depth - Using the subject mask and then inverted, I desaturated the background a little - Using another subject mask, I added some texture and sharpness to the animal. Removed the larger dead branch above her head as well. |

Very nice capture of a moment in time. Not sure if processed that way, but the grainy look adds to the scene. I see some small star burst on the knobs of the guitar, that is pretty cool. |

Hi Tim,
I re-cropped the image to a 16:9 format to give it a panoramic feel, you are right about the small portion of the beach and could use content aware to replace with water. I did not notice it at first, but you are right I probably should dim the light on the small structure on the right. |

Thank you Stephen. This was second time in Hong Kong and decided this time to carry my camera as there are wonderful opportunities for night photography. This shot was taken from Park Island in the evening as we were visiting friends. The Tsing Ma Bridge connects Tsing Yi to Park Island (Ma Wan - Hence the name Tsing Ma) and Lantau Island where the International airport is located. The bridge is quite impressive, 135' wide with 6 lanes on top and two rails tracks on the lower level.
We spend one night walking around with Tripod / timer & camera to capture various areas of HK. Waiting on border to re-open so we can visit my wife's family again:-)
The photo was taken with Canon 5D SR / 16 mm using CamRanger and a ipad to run the remote control app. |
