Hi Bill, there are quite a few "hidden" tricks in lightroom and they added a new slider feature to be used with the radial and gradient filters. The one thing which I think is often over looked is the Auto Mask - That can be really neat to select an area of the same tone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSo_DuGC_a0 - It would likely work well to lower the saturation of the green background, the red overlay then allows you to see the selection once done and use the "alt" key to brush out areas you do not wish to affect. |

General question for the group, would there be enough interest to have an aquatic / underwater group? |

Very sharp, very nice macro shot. I tend to agree with Judy with the green background being a bit overpowering on the eye. The blur works but decreasing the saturation or vibrance would have worked too. No bettles here:-) |

Gorgeous sunset, it is always amazing to work on these and see how far we can push it while working with RAW files. I started to use Luminar out of curiosity and there are some very interesting features as Bob describes. Very nice texture too, that would have been an interesting day to also do a low speed capture with a tripod. |

Beautiful image showing the grace of the dancers. I agree with the line being distracting and it looks perfect on Karen's changes, I also like Judy's black background; it makes the subjects pop even more. Beauty! |

sharp image, nice composition. perhaps lowering the light on the mama's left leg just a bit? Probably a nice image in B&W too - Time for BBQ:-) |

Very nice shot, I like the composition, sharp especially at 1/8 handheld. The one thing that distracting me from the bottles was the bottom & board orange color which close to some of the labels. Here is my attempt to making more antique looking, I lowered the saturation of the orange in LR using auto-mask, added shadows, lowered the "vibrance" made it overhaul sharper & lowered the exposure a tad on the upper left area. |

Hi, thank you for the comments, the rock will easily be removed:-) I actually worked on a few version of this shot, this one is more saturated but some came out nicely in Black & White.
This is a shallow area where I often do to take photos, the statues have nothing Polynesian. They actually were placed there by the owner of the place and came from Bali:-). It is a great spot for photos in the water as it usually is always very clear. |
