Hi Bob, sorry about the colors:-). I actually like more colors but lately I have been in a lower color type image rendering mood:-). I used to live in CT & NJ before moving here and I do love the fall in New England. We should be there in Sept for two weeks. Just a mood change, I am following many IG peeps and it seems the trend is to a more azur & light sky and lesser vibrance / saturation. It is very nice scenery as it was:-). |

Beautiful scenery! The small change / crop from Karen seems to bring us to the water better. I took the liberty to play with it a bit, made more HDR looking with a preset filter and re-cropped down a little. Great subject, love waterfalls and we unfortunately do not have any here:-( |

Very nice idea, I agree with the moon comments; the brightness and color detract from the fireworks. It should be easy to correct the RAW file. I tried lowering the saturation, highlights and exposure and added a slight glow to it to make is softer. The top of the moon is still over-exposed, perhaps again better adjustments can be done with a RAW file. |

Very nice candid shot, I like the subject and how focused is the person. Perhaps I would remove the black letters on the bucket, it distracts a little imo. I close up of just the hand and pottery might also be a cool image. |

Beautiful image! Love the low tones of the sky and sea which really brings the structure forward! Many of my clients like this style, it is trendy on IG. I would not change anything. |

Thank you Bob, the idea was to scout some spots outside of the outer reef, there are many Auhas (cracks / canyons) as seen on this image that are quite beautiful. Getting in there with a model wearing a wedding dress was challenging:-).
Tourism here has been dead since early April, out borders are re-opening today and there are lots of mix feelings from the locals. We did well the first time around but I am not optimist about the re-opening today. We only have one hospital, nothing like in western countries. The government has no choice but re-opening even if it is unsafe, they are broke! They stacked up in Body bags but this week we did not have masks available at the pharmacy! We have not worked since March, we have one shooting late July, that is if the clients actually come and then nothing on the book before mid Sept. The situation is less than ideal, we want to come to the US to pick up my younger son and then go to France and I am not even sure we will be able to to as Europe is closed to US residents. We have to be in CT mid Sept for my daughter's wedding and coming back to FP might will be complicated. Even coming to the US is really up in the air with all the rules in place.
Crazy times and I don't see it getting better anytime soon, if anything it is getting worse! |
