Makes sense now being on a train, very nice shot! I often use AP during wedding ceremonies, I find it is more important to not miss the moment than fiddling with the speed, plus the light can change quickly due to clouds we always tend to have here. I like the warmth of the image:-) . Was the window open? |

Beautiful building, I like the condola in the foreground as it adds life to the story. I again practiced my sky replacement, brighten the building to make it pop a tad more and changed the hue of the water to match the new look. |

We will be on our way to CT in a few days and although we are not looking forward to the cold weather, it will be a nice change. Lovely peaceful winter scene, perhaps just from my system but the snow is a tad greyish, I like Judy's touch up. |

I can't see the animal(s) but enjoy the shot as is, not something I would have thought of photographing, very nice texture with good color / light / hue balance in my opinion. |

Lovely scene, love the trees and waves in the background. I agree with Bob that bringing down the highlights for the sky and perhaps underexpose a tad would help with it not being as flat / washed out. Sky here is often an issue, bright light, overcast not shooting at the ideal times makes it challenging. I have been working my skills on sky replacement and thought I would give it a shot with your image. Also made the water slightly blueshish. Tried to find a sky that would have a hue matching the style of the image. The Clarity, Texture and Dehaze in lightroom as great tools, in this case I used PS for the sky. |

Nice image, I have a similar issue with colors with a photo of Mt Fuji I shot about a month ago so that is interesting education. I will have to post it as I seldom do nature shots. I am curious to why you had the ISO so high and such a high speed? I actually find the colors fine, the snow has a warm tone? taken late afternoon? |

Hi All,
Thank you for the feedback, I probably should have bumped the ISO a bit and go to f8-11 - I think my exposure where too long. I also like the portrait version, which I will change on a few shots. I did use a tripod, did not think os using bulb mode and actually never tried it but it makes sense as some of the shots with with fireworks were over exposed. |

I really like what Bob has done, the background is less distracting the the musician is really the center of attention. The t shirt also does not distract as it did on the original. |
