Very nice image, I love the scene; we don't have this here:-) . Country side is always appealing to me when we go away. Not sure what the original issue was with the sky, we deal with a lot of bright skies here and I often use a polarizing filter which helps me get better sky texture and exposure. The LR dehazing gradient filter is great and probably would had helped fixing the issue, short of changing the sky:-)
Karen did a awesome job, wondering how long it takes in PS to do this change (assuming it was PS) - There are many time when I thought I should do it when we have bright overcast skies, I able to fix it / enhance it but I always feel replacing would be somewhat cheating? But it does work!:-) |

Hi Tam,
Nice touch with the vignette blur, I like it! Good idea!

Hi Bob,
Actually yes, we sell photo sessions for weddings, honeymoon as well as aquatic photography and mostly in Bora but were recently shot a wedding in CT. In this case, he is a friend of mine and thus it was a non profit type deal but we get to go quading when we need:-) . I speak English & French, know a few essential Tahitian words and Bonnie (my partner in crime / fiance) speaks Mandarin, Cantonese & English.
There are a few companies offering quad tours in BB and he is has the best product in my opinion due to having exclusive access to some amazing spots. |

I probably should have cropped the left a little. My original had a little more vibrance to it. @bob do you mean selling the photo? I gave them a dozen of so images from that evening. I believe they will use it on their web site, although not very visible if you don't know is a Maori marae (temple ruin) under the tree which they could point out on their brochure. |

Judy did a really nice job at re-touching the photo. Very nice capture, love the small boat as it adds to the story / place. I agree with Bob, this was likely a very good candidate for HDR, from what I have read many photographers sometime stack 7-11 images to create the final one. |

Very nice shot, love the colors and hue of it - I would never have thought of photographing this subject or perhaps not as a close up. |
