Sharp eyes and mouth area and your choice of background color is a wonderful choice. You also left enough space at right so the face isn't scrunched by the right edge. Kudos! |

Very beautiful scenery! I do like throad, nut maybe by moving to the left you could have included more flower edge to the roadway at top right so it isn't crowded at the edge. That would of also aligned itself with the crop Nancy indicated. Youhave good circular eye flow within the image. I like how your camera is aimed down to crop off the sky and emphasize the foreground. Nicely finished. |

This is wonderful and can be used for a local Farm to Table event poster! I agree with Cindy about the "floaing chairs". I would also suggest maybe adding a statue, fountain, or other element to sit against the trees in the background so the eyes are rewarded for going toward the trees (strong foreground, channeling mid ground). It is beautifully done! |

I'll have to try the vertical and maybe a square, thanks for seeing that option! |

I'm intrigued on how you got the extra thistle bud so well integrated after cloning. It does bring balance. |

This image had strong horizontals and not any verticals. To your question with two areas of interest: you can crop to each and try to concentrate attention on that portion. I could have cropped to the Golden Norm (below) but that would have cropped off a lot of the landscape vista. Sometimes there aren't a lot of choices and you must ask what the strengths of the directions and flow of the image are. Additionally, there's no foreground to speak of (would have loved a tractor in the field!). The image also had strong contrasts with light and dark, but not in color. |

What a cool building, love the architecture. Ditto on the positives mentioned above. I like your choice of clouds because they mirro what is on the pavement. The building has strong vertical rule of third lines. The building is your primary subject. What is the "best supporting actor"? It is the crowd and especially the small girl, who is on the vertical third line. If possible, I'd clone out the man looking at you at left then your pathway leading line would be stronger. Really like this image! |

Ditto above. I assume that the foreground rocks are the leading lines to the main subject, so crop to those. Next, what is the direction of flow within the image you want to bring out? Use the textures and shape to frame the egret. |

Thank you for the suggestion. My lower horizontal rule of thirds is along the top of the darker green area in the lower portion of the image and that roughly mirrors the upper third vertical with the sky. |

The primary subject is the rectangle of lighted windows (rectangles) and the faint one at the top (square), the roof line (triangle) brings your eyes down to the whitish sparsely needled trees (also triangles). I'd lop off the right side and make a square out of the image from the left. The blue sky is wonderful in creating a mood for the image. |

Beautiful image especialy the sky! One rule of thirds, you have strong horizonal lines, the yellow tower appears to be on the golden rule of thirds vertical line. I would have left a little of the image more edge on the left so the building isn't creating tension with the edge. The water darkness at bottom right, I agreee with Quang. The rippled water is softer in the original and I think a softer blur would be appropriate and complement the soft sky. Where's the circular flow of direction? For me it's with the 2 tower tops and the dome then the tree line takes me to the right as does the embankment. Then I return via the roof line. I would also lift the shadows in the tree line. Nicely captured! |

It's a beautiful scene and you've catured the vibrant colors. The name is literally "Five Earth" which in this case refers to the five tiers or terraces in the hillside on which the town is built. You've captured the sense of the hillsides and the there are strong diagonals within the image. Ditto on the suggestions above. |
