Nicely visioned final image! You did an outstanding job on the manes and bring out more coloration there. The front horse's eye is so sharp and clear that it makes the horse's eye behind it seem softer, or is it my eye? YOur choice of background adds to the mood. A really cool looking image! |

This is outstanding in my opinion from the bridge to the detail in the tree limbs at left. The river is a nice leading line for the viewer. The sky doesn't bother me as it is the same color as the some of the river, which is much brighter. Your square crop is well suited for this image. My only suggestions would be to clone out the small rock in the river at bottom left. |

What a powerful image with strong colors and sun rays! First thing that came to mind is that this would be great for a beer label!!! Definitely a wall hanger that would brighten any room. Thank you for sharing this. The sun and tree are on the 1/3rd line and the dead tree brings the viewer's eye to where the "action" is. |

Kudos on the impressionist look! Amazing how you can "see" results like this in the flowers you started with. Your process is inspirational! |

You did a splendid job with this image! The fence as the leading line is wonderful. I like the way you lightened up the shadow on the porch and the person gives dimension to the structure. The bare tree at left was handled well and the sky strokes add to the textures in the image.I agree with the thoughts on the light sin the windows. |

Contrast is the final frontier! How much to apply before it looks over sharpened is the question. My eye tends toward a softer view while other like a crisp view. Your version doesn't offend me and I think just as good as mine, depends on your eye. |

Jay, just saw this in my reading and thought you and other would be interested in it. https://www.outdoorphotographer.com/tips-techniques/photo-tip-of-week/using-lines-in-photography/

Nice capture and I like the various contrasts, which come out better in b&w for street photography: the young and old and the statue, the building and the boulder. My only suggestions would to have more space at the top of the image so the statue head isn't on the very edge of the frame. |

Very well done and I think you achieved what you set out to do. I expect ballerinas to come out of the dark hole for a performance of Swan Lake! I don't have any suggestions for improvement. |

What a wonderful image, and welcome to our group! You have done very well with light painting with just a flashlight (standard of hi-powered?). Did you shoot a single image or bracket shots? Ditto on the positive remarks above, well done. |

I really think you captured the lines and contrast of the shadows with them. I do prefer the b&w from Heidi. It would be nice if you had someone or something at the end of the tunnel to give perspective and a focal point (and I guess the favored color to have their is red from what I read). Really good find and a setup you can have a lot of fun with. Kudos! |

Wow! Now that's a capture! I like the focus, the blur, and how it is centered on the action. Would dodging help brighten up the raptor a bit? |

What a wonderful point opportunity for a shot! Love the rock, the fog and the DOF. My question is what is the point of focus? For me, is the twin trees leaning out over the rocks. I have attached a cropped of the image where the trees are in the Golden Spiral. But that's my "newspaper" eye of cropping to the action. It must have been so exciting to see that fog roll in! |

Adjusted the water in the Calibration in LR and it does look better. Also lightened the start of the path. Thanks for the suggestions. |

I like you final pano and agree with Gary about the lower left corner. Sharpness and DOF all excellent. Sorry to see you leave the group, best wishes for your photographic journey! I'll miss your wonderful photography. |

I'm with the chorus on the b&w version. Agree that it's one of the best images I've seen with the comet (so many people sharing images that I'm glad it won't come back in my lifetime!). There's some weird byte grouping at left in the brightest portion of the sky that can be cloned out. The Ansel Adams presets in Topaz Studio for b&w might resolve the overall noise issue. Nice capture and composition. |

These shots always amaze me. Must be a wonderful place to visit. I like the way you can see the waves on the rocks and you did a good job bringing them out. Your sky is excellent and I'm glad you paid the guide extra to throw in the clouds! I think you could darken the shadows via burning in the bottom right quad to provide for more contrast since that doesn't have any of the waves. |

With what's at the right you can easily duplicate and extend the right side of the image for the space Gary speaks of. I like the cropping to the action: There is a good circular motion for the eye from the trunk and water streams of the first elephant to the white tusk of the foreground elephant to the babies and back. I'd ditch the yellow on the backs and let the water spray be the brightness of the image. Coming from ag country where there isn't a lot of blue in the water I wouldn't have changed the water color here. Nice capture and I really like your cropping on this and the hide textures of the elephants. |

Really like the rays of light that you added, and you caught the mood in this image. All you need is to put some inspiration quote in the cloud and you have a business/church office poster! The DOF really comes across. Cool image (no pun intended). |

The different shapes and textures contrast nicely with one another, and in that vein I would have opted for the curb line in the bottom photo so it leads the eye in a parallel to the posts and isn't broken up with a horizontal curb. I like the luminosity of the image (surprised aren't you!). This could be the cover of a Chamber of Commerce brochure! Good job of deleting the various distractions too. |
