Put me down as a fan of yours! What you have done in creating a background, setting the bird against it, and then painting the bird is outstanding - you even drew the feet! Definitely an award-winner! |

Ditto Cindy. Excellent transformation and the lighting contrast is well done. Good circular motion within the image. |

I like how you have transformed the image! The stray wires from the pole at top point toward the house. I think you gave a lot of pop/impact to the image. I would have cropped off the right side to the pole and brushed out the wite at the bottom of the pole to create a framed edge. |

Jorn, I agree with Cyndy about the cropping and have attached a 16x9 for you to see what it would look like and the gull is one the 1/3rd line. B&W is a good choice for this so as to make the viewer think, envision, remember. |

Nicely done, I love the 3 in-focus petals in the foreground and, of course, the color pop! Nice choice to delete the extra leaves in the original. This could be smashing with the right matting and frame. |

Nice layers and DOF. Were you standing when you took this? Maybe getting closer to the ground/stream would have put more mountain reflection in the water. Like the position of the tallest peak on the 1/3rd line. I might have burned some areas of the mountains and definitely the lower third in front of the pines. |

Nice colorful punch and I like that you cropped out the building at the top right, nice decision! Well done! |

Nice capture. I agree with Cyndy about the lower right corner. I think this would work well as a square cropped image and you could crop off the brightest of the lower right using the orangish curve in the water to its advantage. |

Wow! You certainly captured this gem in all its splendor. The contrast in lighting and shadow add to the impact. Is the water at bottom left really that blue? If so, it is amazing. Definitely a wall hanger! |

The shrubbery gives the eye a nice circular movement around the image. The people atop the falls give this a sense of perspective. I like the way you've brightened the image to put some WOW into it. The bottom of the falling water looks silky but perhaps the highlight could be brought back into it. |

Instant love of subject matter! I like what you did with blue toning the sky but the snow needs to be whitened to compliment it. The version you did for Gary has complimentary snow coloration though I'd whiten it a tad since it is in the foreground. The boulder at foreground left is a wonderful balance to the barn and the others above it give a leading line to the fence and barn.I'd slice a tad off the top to make it balance with the height of the snow at the bottom third. Love the improvements in your post processing! |

I agree with Gary, tone down the blue water and I would smooth it out by taking sharpening and clarity sliders all the way down. My initial reaction was an inspiration image. There are multilayers here, which is a nice touch. As an inspirational piece, all you need is a quote from someone for that "ah ha" reaction. |

A good choice to go with watercolor and that choice has made it unique! Great circular motion within the image. Nice crop at the top. Water coloration also improved. There's also another image within this image with the cement walkway leading to the umbrella area. Definitely a wall hanger and congrats with the HM in PSA exhibitions! |
