I couldn't try that angle, too treacherous amd too many bushes/trees for access, but would have loved to. The water is so individualistic as to taste. I thought wispy but didn't like it and chose this instead. Lately, I've seen so much wispy that none of it really stands out any more. The shots look great, don't get me wrong. I guess I wanted it more "macho" looking for the power of the water. |

I guess I went vertical for the sky and to balance it out the soybean field. I'll try a horizontal and play with it. |

I didn't change any light direction only enhanced it. I'll try your suggestion about metering the darker element; is that spot metering? |

What a great find and I like the crop on the image. I agree with Gary on the brown water below. To my eye, I would darken the bridge in LR and bring out its detail as that is the focal point of the image. What an exciting image to work on! |

Wow! You did some fantastic post processing on this image with lighting and color. I like it very much. The low clouds/fog blow me away, how great to get an image with that! The only minor distraction is that to my eye the building appears to be slanting right. Definitely a dreamy vista! Congrats. |

Everything about this I like except my eye is taken right to a line of pine trees, which doesn't grab me. So I'm missing that item of focus. But all else in this image to my eye is well done in the foreground. Maybe some sharpness/clarity in what mountain across the lake is the focal point would enhance the image. I really like what you did with the clouds. |

Love the depth of field on this and the V of the mountains in the foreground. You can see everything in the shadows. I may have tried to "wisp" the water of the river and brought out more detail in the trees with yellow foliage. |

Wonderfully done, the sky is wonderful in contrast to the scene below it. The circular motion of the image keeps drawing my eye back in to the lake. Fantastic! |
