This is a nice composition, cropped/shot to create circular motion, with some great colors. I would use the gradient filter at right to darken the highlights and make the colors more vibrant in the fruit like in your Original 2. I'd also darken the top left area by burning so it is not a distraction. |

As usual, very nicely done! Nice darkening of the background and the Orton was a good choice for this image. You put detail where it was need. What a find! |

Nice find! Nice contrast of architectural lines. I would have put a person at the far end of the bridge between the 2 arches at left for a focal point, preferably wearing red. You couldn't ask for better leading lines. The clouds are really nice. Bet this would be more dynamic when shot in autumn and those leading lines would come in real handy! |

To my eye (which we all know is contrarian) the focus is the rocks and the pier is a border element. I like the light rocks in the foreground but would also lighten the rocks slightly paralleling the pier. Nice whispy water. I also like your cropping of the sky to make this more panoramic in feel. There's a nice peace to the image. |

Having spent a good deal of time in Asheville, NC, I know there's a haze over the Smokies and also in Virginia mountains. My eyes always see the haze and if there isn't the haze, then it's a rare day! Ditto on the 3's in the image, nicely composed. I imagine this location would be a smashing autumn shot too! I agree abut the clouds, using the gradient tool to bring out some definition and darker color. Love the foreground sharpness too. |

Love the sky! The water is whispy like it should be. It definitely is a milestone image and you're an inspiration for patience! An outstanding image. |

Were you standing when you took this shot? Getting closer to the water might have hidden the peak at left. I also like the panoramic suggestion. A nice and peaceful image ... I can see some words at the top for inspiration and it hanging in an office! |

Outstanding for handheld! Wonderful visual V for the vista of the mountains and the sky is exceptional. I like the rock and branch in the foreground as it completes the circular motion of the eye, as it travel to the point of the V, then left over the mountains, to the tree line, and the rock in the foreground directs my eye back to the V point. Nice exposure of the rocky lake bottom. I too would lighten the trees lines and their reflections. Sad to say, there are no mountains in Wisconsin! |

I'll be in the minority of opinion here: I think the silhouetted tress act like a vignette bringing the eye's attention to what you were shooting, The Milky Way.The reflection is an added bonus. Nicely done. |

I really like the composition and the sky color at left is wonderful. I feel there is circular motion for the eye in the image. I would replace the ocean in the final with that of original 2 making it softer, but that's just my preference. I do like the softer clouds in your "fix" image. |
