Wow, why can't I find anything like this?! My only suggestion would be to slightly darken the foreground as to contrast more with the rest of the image. This is a dandy! |

I lived in Roma for a year and am envious you got to go there! For my eye, I find that the light and shadow at right is stronger than anything else in the image and I would crop to that portion of the image. There's soooo much to that fountain! |

Ahh you're in my photographic garage! I like this find. I think you need the door jam to frame the interior, nice cropping. Grunge is definitely the way to go with this, so nice selection. Despite how you found it, most people want a little more warmth to the image for it to be more emotive -- it's a subtle thing. I put it thru a few Topaz filters that I use. What I would suggest further is to sharpen then darken the top portion of the door jam, ditto with the handle at bottom left to have an eye focus toward the interior. Then I would selectively sharpen elements of the interior. This is the stuff that gets you addicted when you have a find like this. |

I guess this would be as far as I would crop it to keep the circular motion as my eye sees it. Previously I left in most of the tree at left to counterweight the shrooms. |

The eye is sharp, which is #1 in an image of wildlife. I would have spent some time trying to sharpen the beak -- which I really like the coloration of. With the weight of the blank space to the right, I personally would crop off a good deal of the space behind its neck at left (but that's my sense of balance and we're all different). So much here to "play" with considering the texture of the feathering, good capture! |

Yes, I'd user the gradient filter on the sky and perhaps lighten up the plane itself for more contrast to the background and sharpen up the tail image (who is that?). The cropping does a lot to emphasize the size of the plane. I'd play around with cropping portions of the left of until the plane really popped. I like all the detail contrasts with horizontal and verticals in this photo. |

I like your framing of this and also how you cutback on the blue of the fog. The image appears to be weighted to the right with the slope of the building's roof and the light. I'd try to use the roof line as the horizontal line and see if the landscape would balance to the left more. Otherwise a very well done image. iPhone? |

I agree on the bluish tint. Also there should be more space under his/her legs and I'd crop some of the left and top off to bring the dog out more. As a dog owner, I think you have a great subject here and years of rewarding photography! The ears and nose provide a good color variation and I look forward to seeing some photos of the face this year! |

Bravo, nicely done! I saw this method used on a canoe on a lake with a peninsula and then a mountain behind it. You definitely have more patience than I do! There are so many horizontal lines in the image, which one did you use for this image? |
