I know I'm in a minority here, but I'd go to the dark side to really emphasize the lighting on the crucified Christ. Death is dark (skull and bones below cross) IMHO and the richness of the stained glass darkened would serve as a great background. The stained glass takes the eye to the cross; the statuary at left and right only detracts from the real centerpoint: Christ crucified. Only two things matter in the image: the cross and the stained glass, all else is superfluous. Too bad you couldn't get in the choir loft to shoot this. Good material here to experiment with. |

Nice find, wish I could come across such wood! IMHO I'd boost the saturation in the dead leaves. Eye motion in image goes from mid left to lower right but no circular return. For my taste I'd crop it closer to the log so I had that circular motion. Good dof. Great capture to work with! |

Agree. I would "salvage" this by using a painting program like Topaz Impression. Can turn out quite nicely especially if the print is smaller. |

I'm not a flower guy, so please take that into consideration! I like the bokeh effect. I'd darken the highlights to bring out more detail in the petals. Interesting arrangement and I like the colors. |

A little too dark for my taste. The light is coming from left so I would lighten the mountain on the right so there a clearer definition of the river edge. I like painted images. I would have tried to HDR the image in PS or thru Photomatix or via Topaz Studio to see what would happen. Keep playing with you iPhone, I know one photog who uses it exclusively and has some outstanding images. |

I like the circular motion of the image with the bridgework. Is the artist checking out the woman? He should be standing since he has a customer, but that is another discussion! Great colors and contrast here. Congrats on the capture! |

Nice detail in foreground, good detail on the water. I would have waiting a second or so later to take the picture so the car would be more centered under the water arch or used a rapid-fire sequence if there is traffic in such a case. I wonder what it would look like with a darker background to bring out the water more and contract with the sculpture? I really like the foreground! |

Nice capture on a water pipe -- makes it unusual, nice eye! My only comment would be to crop off most of the bottom and make it a horizontal image. |
