Thanks Gary! The sky was overcast, great for taking photos but doesn't do much for a photo sky and you managed to bring some color into it. I thought of using LandscapePro to put in a blue sky but didn't. Maybe I will now that I've seen your sky. The truck is supposed to be pearl and your image has too much yellow; it was a tough adjustment as I tried to get more yellow into the hot rod car and as a result put some yellow into the truck. I'm a history buff so the entire sawmill is important to me from a local standpoint. Buy I think darkening the image slightly is a good idea; I used to be an advocate of the "dark side" but my eye has lightened up over the past couple of years. The foreground weight balance with the sky is what I was trying to achieve and your cropping to my eye makes the image bottom weighted but I can see the balance in thirds. What's your input about the b&w image? |

Instant fave from another vintage iron enthusiast! I would have touched up the wheel well so it was all black, but that's just me. This capture and processing rocks! |

Cool! I just took a photo of one of these and now I know what to do with it. Lots of clarity here. With my "unique" perspective I would crop it horizontally across the globe of it because of the clarity and it would really emphasize all the intricacies. But that's me. Love the bokeh background! |

Yes, a good composition. Maybe you can use the adjustment brush to darken the highlights and lighten the shadows on the rocks in the middle foreground. This capture is wonderful, great circular motion and the blurred water adds so much. You could really set many mood versions of this piece! |

The sharpness of the eye and the position of the break are wonderful not to mention the lighting. Kudos! |
