24 Mar 20 Comment Thank you, Jim Horn. Yes, I am still having trouble with my focus!!! I can not get it right. I changed to spot focus and I rolled the little wheel at the top by the eye view look though(Doppler). I just can not get what I need to fix the focus. I am so upset working how to fix this and on what to do. Any thoughts??? Mar 5th

24 Mar 20 Comment If you look at the neck and about even with the black part of the beak over on the neck they is a line of shadow that is parallel with the beak. I did not know if you wanted that left or if you might want to blend it by dodging it or some other way of blending. I just didn't know if it should be so hard or not? Maybe you like it the way it is and if so then it works if you did not see it and now you do you can decide how you like it best. Mar 2nd
24 Mar 20 Comment I like this image the color is so beautiful, his eyes are sharp and the detail in the feather is good. I like how his head almost has a glow to it. The background is not distraction. I like how the neck is separated from the body. I don't know what to say to help you improve with this photo. I am learning also. Maybe one thing that my eye is pulled to that you may or may not want to change is the little bit of pink on the rocks in the bottom right. What do you think about doing something with the line on the neck from the shadow? I feel one thing that does help everyone is when we put up the before pics with the one we want CC on. Mar 2nd
24 Mar 20 Comment Very cool! You kept it sharp and clean as you added all the other plants. I like how you used a white background to make it all pop. Mar 2nd
24 Mar 20 Comment Wow! You did what you set out to do and I feel like I can almost hear the geese just by look at this image. Great shot! Mar 2nd

61 Mar 20 Comment Manfred, wonderful as always. I like the mood this image has. I see it is sharp, clean and the lighting is perfect. The angle you use creates a interesting perspective. I like the background and how you have the depth of field set. I know you gave the setting for the lights but what are your setting on the camera? Mar 2nd
61 Mar 20 Comment When I look at this photo I believe you did what you set out to do. Did she think she looked beautiful? Her hair is so nice a shiny and her eyes are sprinkling. By having her in a blue jean jacket is timeless. I like you did not put a ton of make up on her or remove all the things that show her age but use the lighting to show her best look. I am sorry I don't have any thing to say to help you improve this image. Well done. Mar 2nd
61 Mar 20 Comment Thank you Manfred! What if I had someone hold one of those silver reflectors up at her face? Have you worked with a reflector? Yes, her skin was orange I think she used a cream that tans the skin but, I see what you mean about her skin. I will start watching the clothing. Thank you! Mar 2nd
61 Mar 20 Comment When I 1st open this photo all I thought was Beautiful! Then I looked and I see it is clear and sharp but she looks so soft as a woman like a swan or Bambi (not that the image is soft). I like the white in her hair it moves my eye to her eyes. I like the placement of her hands and her feet very soft and sweet. I like the curves of the way you have her lay. I feel the lighting the best for this shot; I love what you have done. I am sorry I can not tell you anything to improve this shot it is beautiful. Well done! Mar 2nd
61 Mar 20 Comment I feel like she is looking at me; with wise, old eyes. She looks like a knows the land and has lived on the farmer all her life. I think the background is great for this shot. Her top and little white scarf under the hat works well with the theme as does the lighting IMHO. I do wonder what was you thinking as to how you cropped her side so close and why you did not want to show more of her arm. When I look at this photo I feel you have put out a powerful statement of a woman of the land. Mar 2nd
