Norm, in my mind the higher contrast image is better in that it shows the intricate nature of the petals without losing the abstract quality. |

I think this is an interesting treatment of a flower - something we do not normally see. Is it possible to add more contrast in Topaz Charcoal? In my mind this would improve the image. |

A lovely scene as mentioned and I would agree with cropping the tree on the right. Also, it would be nice to have the car disappear with a healing tool.

I like that you captured the bird in full eating mode and that is the story. Yes, it would improve the image if the bird were sharper, but when we are dealing with creatures that is not always possible. The vignette is a little strong, but again that is personal taste. |

I like that the bird is sharp and bright against a muted backdrop and atop a faded, spattered sign. In my mind everything in an image does not have to be punchy. I like the image, because the main subject is punchy and alive. It would be a plus if you could selectively sharpen the bird's eye as Norm suggested. |
