Good detail Marilyn, but I do think this is over-processed a bit. A little less sharpening should still bring out the feather detail, certainly reduce the sharpening on the background water. |

Terrific capture of a difficult to get flying hummingbird. I'm no expert on identification of hummingbird species, so I leave this to everyone else. I agree with Jim's idea of brightening the bird a bit. |

Great nature shot, Leslie, tells a story. Leave the tail in. |

Great capture of the heron in flight. Is this species a gray heron? I believe that is the species found in your part of the world. |

I agree with everyone, great shot of the owl, Tom. I also agree, tone down the green a bit, maybe darken a bit or lighten the owl also. |

Thanks everyone. I think I'll try to lighten the bird and darken the background a little so as to make the eye go to the bird and be less bothered by background stuff. Maybe clone out a few branches, though I really shouldn't do this for a nature competition. Tom, your idea is interesting but I really prefer the bird looking to its right. |

I agree with the others, Jim, a great capture of the American Goldfinch. The crop from the original is spot on. |

Good detail in the heron, Tom. Unfortunately you captured this shot too close to mid day and the background would have been better early or late in the day. The last modification is the best, considering that the small line was gone. |

An interesting idea, Mo, but to be really realistic the horizon in the mirror should b parallel to the horizon of the main image rather than the mirror frame. |

This color shift is an interesting observation. Here, I wish that there were a bit greater color separation and tone variation than what you got. Unfortunately this looks like you captured this around mid day at a time when the sun was almost directly behind you. You probably didn't have much of a choice if you were traveling at the time.
As it is, I wonder if trying something like the point color option in Lightroom Classis or ACR would help you to separate the yellows and oranges better; a bit more orange would certainly help here. |

Well done, Brad, I'm sure that the brightest highlights would blow out if you had only taken a single exposure. But I would like to see this shot just a little brighter (1/2 stop?) to bring out more detail in the shadows. |
