Great image, Michael. I cannot add anything more. |

Terrific image, Leslie! These birds don't pose for very long. |

Both images are great, I slightly prefer the second one with the odd number of geese, not overlapping with each other. Though the first one suggests togetherness. Where are they normally found? |

Yes, I prefer the low key version, it removes all the distraction on the original image. But I wonder what it would look like if you kept a well darkened version of the water areas in the foreground. |

Well done, Gabriele. It is not easy to capture the dynamic range this image requires, and to get them sharp with the distances involved. Is this a raw capture? In Lightroom Classic you can set highlights to -100 and shadows to +100 to reduce the contrast level. |

Well done, very sharp. You captured a very challenging scene where all the chicks are well posed, they certainly don't stay this way for very long. The vertical composition suits this situation very well. |

Unfortunately this is the type of perches that the builders of this area set up for the birds. I still like my version with the whole bird. Maybe I should try replacing the perch with a branch from another image but then this wouldn't be appropriate for a nature competition. |

Thanks for your comments. I've tried to follow them by adding a curves adjustment to the skjy and a hye/saturation mask to the grass, darkening and desaturating it a bit. What do you think?
BTW, I used the new object selection tool to select the grass. It made very quick work on tyhis task. |

Good detail and color and well done usage of HDR. The horizon appears to slant up very slightly to the right. |

This is a great building that I've watched its restoration progress on TV the last few years. I have a lifetime interest in trains and wonder whether its function as a train station might be restored in future (especially with thoughts from Amtrak about restoring a Chicago to Toronto service). I think the blue is a bit too intense and could be toned down a bit; on the other hand, it's a great complement to the yellowish color of the image. |

Welcome to the group, Mo. As Rick pointed out, I'm not sure about the need for HDR on this image; it seems to be one that would not need a great variation of brightness in it. Great vibrant color. |

Very well done, Lisa, evokes the feeling of the dark, damp forest. I should try to visit the old car place near my home that I've shown a few images here from (but were done in late autumn). I like Rick's slightly brighter version better, but yours is also great, just as is. |

Compared to the view you showed a couple of months ago, I see why I thought the image was on a bit of a slant. I prefer Rick's version with the brightened buildings and slightly darker sky. |

Thanks Rick. I know, others have sometimes commented that my greens are a bit too saturated. I guess I've developed a liking for vibrant greens. |
