21 Apr 24 Comment Never having seen this bird, I would have to guess it's a male because females tend to be less colorful. Sharp capture with a good nondistracting background and lots of space for the bird to move into. Apr 22nd
21 Apr 24 Comment Excellent capture, Leslie. Looking at your image, I can hear the meadowlark singing from my early years growing up on the prairies. Apr 22nd
21 Apr 24 Comment Well done Mike, great nature story image. I agree with Ron that there's some loss of detail in the male's feathers. Apr 22nd
21 Apr 24 Comment I must agree with others, I would prefer to see the original image and leave this one for a creative group. Apr 22nd
21 Apr 24 Comment Too bad this image wasn't larger, cannot add anything more. Apr 22nd
21 Apr 24 Comment Great action shot Tom. I can see that lightening of the underside would not be easily achieved except by having used a flash with an accessory like a Better Beamer originally. Apr 22nd
21 Apr 24 Reply Thanks Tom. I'll have to try that . But your version appears to be a little grainy. Apr 22nd

44 Apr 24 Reply Thanks everyone for your comments. I disagree about the greens being oversaturated, but I've tried to make the house pop using a couple of adjustment layers. Take a look. Apr 30th
44 Apr 24 Comment This appears to me to be either a tight crop of a much larger area or something shot at a very low resolution. Or did you apply a creative effect here? I wish there were more detail in the front of the cabin. Apr 23rd
44 Apr 24 Comment Well done Bill. I agree with Jane about removing that whatever. Also remove the two little somethings that intrude into the bottom of the image on the left side. Apr 23rd
44 Apr 24 Comment Evokes the feel of pioneer days. I find the cart to be crowded into the image. Try a looser crop; if this is the full image, try using Generative Expand around the back of the cart and below it to give it a bit more space. Apr 23rd
44 Apr 24 Comment Great color, looks like the cover of an advertising flyer. Perhaps lighten the color of the brown windows. Apr 23rd
44 Apr 24 Comment I agree with Jane, we have a pink peony in our yard which looks very similar to this when it is first coming into bloom (June for us). I think the leaves and buds are OK as they are, slightly blurred, with the main flower very sharp. Apr 23rd
44 Apr 24 Reply Thanks Jane. Looking at it today, I think that adding a bit of contrast to the house would help it to stand out. Apr 22nd
