Neil, Yes, great street portrait. It all comes together very nicely. I like to decision to convert to B&W it some how adds to the story and the keeps us focused on the guy

Sean, Strong composition with lots of great lines and great texture. The image fills the foreground and back ground and the man in swimming trunks heading towards the sun appears to complete the image

Margaret, Really like the feel and texture in your image. The yellow bag could be removed but I also understand the desire to document and leave things as you found them.

Hey Bev, I feel like I'm piling on. I too like that bit of blue sky
Adds a bit of balance to the strong orange.
I also like the shadow of the branch coming in from the left.

Bill, Fist I gotta tell ya your on my turf!! LOL!! I shot at least once a week in Market Sq. One of my favorite places to shot
Like Colin I won't change what you have here. The body language of the two women creates a nice contrast that adds to the story. With out the women on the left you'd loose that. The object on the table and the busy background are all part of a good street photo.

Karen, what a cool image. every time I look at it I can tell a different story. Its and image that pulls the viewer in and makes them wonder.
Which is what I think good street photography should do.

Welcome to the group Dan, It's a very strong street portrait. Both subjects have great expressions, the bowed head, the strong gesture of the finger in his cousins chest. Punctuated by the cigar all tell a wonderful story

Colin, What first drew me to the image was the muted/soft colors. The pink hair tells us its a recent image but the overall color and feel of the image suggests a by-gone time.
Simple lines all seem to frame the two women and lead us into the image. I agree with your decision not to eliminate the wires.
