Neil, It is a great portrait captured in a real world setting.
I understand that folks are concerned with the bit of custom thats been cut off but my concern is that if you captured it or restored it here eyes would be at mid-line in the image. Which might throw the balance of the image off.

Sean I apologize for the late comment. I was away most of the month. Just got back.
Strong image. Really like the feel of movement. Seems to me you did a very nice job of working with/through the glass of the tank and the the refraction of the water.
The "softness" around the face is not a problem for me. Not even sure you can or should correct it. After all we see every thing "soft" through that much water. |

Hello Margaret, I apologize for a late comment I was away most of the month.
I like the image as it is. The handrail is a great leading line! It pulled by eye into and then through the image. leading me up all the way to the blue.
I would not change a thing.
Well seen well captured.

Karen, Really strong lines. Nice contrast. That is a great deal of white on the left. Not sure what to do about it.. But over all I like the composition and where you positioned yourself to take the picture. Nicely done.

Colin, I apologize for being so late with my comment. I was away for most of the month.
Fist off, I like the sepia look I think it adds to the over all feel of the image. I also like the framing and composition. The wall, lamp posts and the string of lights all create a strong leading line. The young girl looking back at you also helps to pull us into the image.
Would increasing the clarity add a bit of texture to the image?
well seen and captured.
Rich.
