Margaret , Thank you. I kept going back and forth on the Rule of Thirds Then after awhile gave up on it. and went with how it was captured.

Karen, Thanks for the explanation of who this group is. It is a very Fun image and I want to be a part of it.Lots of emotion and a strong sense of place and time. Well done
I agree with Stephen and Colin that closer would be better but I also notice that if you get too close you'll lose one of the characters on the sides. Perhaps changing your shooting angle might have helped.

Bev, Its street as far as I'm concerned and a very strong street image.
this isn't the same little boy thats in Bills image is it? ( I know its not just being silly) Though it is another great capture of a special moment between a parent and a child. The fact that its family makes it all the more special.
Our, the viewer looking over the mom's shoulder and seeing the child as she does is a very nice touch

Colin, Really like the limited color palate. The blue jacket pulls e into the image and then I start exploring, seeing all the little things. The symmetry of the composition is strong as are the lines and forms.
I also like the story of one guy exploring his surroundings while the other checks out whats on his smart phone.

Yvon, I'm really glad you didn't adjust the white balance!! I like the whole feel of the image and the red of the spot light is clearly part of that.

Bill, Like Colin , I like the color. The green supported by a bit of purple works well for me. The composition is enhanced by your crop.
