Hildi, I agree with Mark it's a great image. A everyday object creatively seen. One of those wonderful images that we can find when we are willing to look at what is right around us.
Well seen and well captured.

I think it helps that the camera body has the stabilization in it and not the lens.

Linda, I'm a sucker for refections so I really like this image. If you decide to take Neils suggestions please post it again I for one would like to see it.

Margaret, Its a very nice image and a very nice project. And thanks for the description of the Lr Room process. I've never tried HDR and this gives me a place to start
Thanks

No tripod Margaret, I turned the car off and held it against the side of the car.

Colin, Thank you this is helpful. I'm going to let it sit for awhile but right now I'm thinking I'll use this one as my finale image and scrap the first one I posted .
I'll let you know |

Colin, here is more of the original image.
The shooting angle was from the hip and pretty funky so I lost part when I used Lr Transform to straighten things out.
Let me know what you think

Colin, Wow. One question; What time of the day was it?
Its a great image. I really like the depth suggested in the image. As others have said its great that you choose to wait for what you wanted. The barbers suspenders do add a very nice touch as does their body posture mirroring each others.
At first I didn't see you in the image but then I found you, centered and present but not at all distracting
Nicely done

Bill, Another one of your layered reflection shots. I like this image a great deal. I'll leave the processing suggestions to others because I find a great deal to like about the content. The "reflection" or "echo" of the man outside looking in and the women inside wearing the apron really adds to the impact. The trays of food, the ducks and chickens in the window. Even the license plate on the truck all add up to a great story. I also thinking where you choose to stand to shot the image is ideal

Beverly , I sure understand the connection with the image. He does have a great face and sees like an interesting character. Worth keeping
But as the others have stated the lack of sharpness takes away from his face.
The only possible "save" I can think of is if you took it into Analog Efex Pro 2 and tried to create a very old fashioned image. Try a camera, lens and film combination where the images where not known for being sharp. Just 1 quick example . This is Wet Plate 9 in Analog Efex with some sepia added It needs work but it may help

Hattie and Bill, I understand and like both of your crops and will play with both in Lightroom.. I prefer the "feel" of my crop because I like the sense of a small dog among all those legs but I agree with both of you that the leg moving through the image in the bottom corner is distracting
Thank you
