Linda, Thank you Both work for me. I tend to lean towards the more horizontal crop but then I tend to favor that type of crop for landscapes. Ether way I like the image |

Hildi, I too like the color and I like how you limited the background to shades of green and yellow . Keeps the image simple and highlights the yellow flowers.

Sean, I agree with both Beverly and Margret the color enhancement helps the image pop a bit more. I also really like the leaders facial expression and hand gesture. Was he telling you to get out of the way?

Very nice image Linda, the colors are great I too like how you enhanced them I especially like how the colors are reflected in the water.
I'd love to see the changes on the original crop or is that dark corner on the lower left still to dark?

Margret, As Linda wrote I really like the contrast between old and new. It tells a story. The crop adds to the feel of movement . If I were to make any change it would be to try and darken the house behind the car first.
I know darkening something so white can be hard but I find my eyes moving past the car to the house. I'm not sure I'd touch the horse and buggy, let the viewer work a bit.

Beverly, Straight or crooked I like the image. The shooting angle pulls me in and I find my eyes go from fore to back ground seeing the whole image The soft color palette works for me.

Margaret, Thank you. I will try the image with out the 3 small clouds.
No tripod. The E-M1 is a mirrorless camera and the image stabilization is in the body. I can hand hold down to 1/30 with out it picking up my 66 year old hand movements. Its one of the main reasons I purchased the camera.

Hema, A cool (no pun on the color blue intended...well maybe a little bit) The strong composition and the blue color brings my eyes through the hustle and bustle of the folks to the dome in the back or the river down below. Its an image that pulls me in requires me to work a bit
Nicely done

Bill, Like Colin I like the gesture and the light on the women. I keep wondering what she is saying to the guy.I lean toward the original image and not the cropped version as I like seeing all of the car windows the dark greenish blue band across the top of the car serves to bring my gaze back down to the subject. A sort of natural vignette.
Very nice capture

Beverly I agree with Colin very strong colors. Father and son (i'm assuming by the matching jerseys) together on the street I really like the feel and look of the entire image.
Seeing the Messi jerseys I kept looking for the soccer ball Knew that canon ball like thing wasn't it.
Well seen

Hattie, Nicely seen! Lots of layers, strong graphics interesting subjects and some Cheez-its Your own reflection adds another element to the story. How they all seem so caught up in their own thing that they don't even notice you standing there take the shot. It sure works for me
